Veg Pulao with Paneer

Pulao is cooked in different parts of the world, differently! Several combinations and variations can be made while cooking. It may be sweet or savoury, spicy or tangy. This is a quick recipe, tasteful and nutritious.

Ingredients :
  • Cooked rice : 2 cups (cooked in 4 cups of water)
  • Paneer : 100 g (or tofu..)
  • French beans (chopped) : 1/2 cup
  • Carrot (chopped): 1/2 cup
  • Onion : 1 small
  • Garlic : 2 cloves
  • Yoghurt : 11/2 tsp
  • Pav bhaji masala : 1 tbsp
  • Red chilly powder : 1 tsp
  • Oil : 11/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method :








  • Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions to it, sauté till translucent. Add garlic paste and cook for a minute. 
  • Add french beans and carrots. Cover and cook for 5min. Now add paneer cubes and Pav bhaji masala and red chilly powder. Mix well. 
  • Add yoghurt and mix. Sprinkle salt and add the cooked rice to it. Cover and cook for 2-3 min.
  • Serve hot!
