Idli Fry

Idli Fry is a tasty breakfast or snacking food item...It comes out super when made with left over Idlis!

Ingredients :
  • Idlis : 6-7 
  • Red chilly powder : 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
  • Oil : 11/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method :





  • Cut 4 Idlis into bite size pieces and crumble the remaining ones.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Put in mustard seeds and allow them to splutter.
  • Add the Idlis and mix. Add red chilly powder and sprinkle salt (if required as Idlis are already savory) 
  • Cook covered for 5min......Serve hot! 

 VARIATION : You can also put in onions and chillies and season it with hing powder and curry leaves.
